Beeker. The Muppets. Memories. Oh, the memories.

Any time the Animal has to shut up a crowd, you know the act’s gotta be bad. Welll… here is the one and only Beeker doing his rendition of Barbra Streisand’s Feelings, circa nineteen seventy-something-or-other. And it still absolutely tickles my funny bone to no end. Barbra Streisand did a magnifacent rendition of “Memory” from “Cats” Not “Feelings”! You idiots!

by the way … it’s spelled “magnificent” not “magnifacent.” but that’s just being petty, don’t mind me.

Boy, do I miss the old Muppets. I just shake my head sadly at their desperate attempts to keep it alive nowadays. Leave it as it was: a brilliant, innovative comedy program. Now it’s just about money. Respect the late, brilliant Jim Henson by leaving his work alone.

But that’s just my opinion. 🙂
